I asked myself the other day, are there portable hot tubs? I mean this. Realistically speaking, I buy a hot tub, and then I move. So can’t I take that heavy beast with me? Oftentimes, this doesn’t end up happening partly because when people buy a place, they assume that if the hot tub is there, it’s going to stay there and partly because well it’s just too complicated and heavy.

I guess that’s why I was skeptical and impressed at the same time when I heard about the mere possibility of portable hot tubs. I mean I hate even moving a pool table, because with the nicer ones, you actually have to get professionals to come in and take it apart, move it for you because it’s really heavy, and then put it together again, and you definitely have to pay them. I don’t even know what I would begin to do with a hot tub in that respect.

This being said, I actually started looking into portable hot tubs the other day, and though I haven’t done enough research by any means, especially with price comparisons, there is hope for the future! It is potentially possible to actually get hot tubs that you could keep as you move instead of just paying more to get another one at the new house! That would be nice.

If you are suffering from the recession just like everybody else, chances are you are looking to cut back without actually sacrificing much and without gaining weight. Because quite frankly, they have done studies that have shown in recessions, the obesity rates rise. You don’t want to be part of that problem, and quite frankly just having food stamps doesn’t really help.

This being said, there are a few basic ways and easy ways to save money and lose weight at the same time. They don’t involve diet pills, because we all know diet pills cost money, and you also don’t have to go out and spend even the $20 per month on a gym membership. Instead, you just use some common sense.

Eat more fruits and vegetables-yes you have to go shopping more often, but no it does not cost you more money. In fact, it costs you less. Every time you go to McDonalds, you are spending more per meal than you should ever be spending, and you are creating future healthcare bills which would not be there had you not eaten junk food like this in the first place.

Exercise, walk your dog-it seems simple, but it’s effective. You don’t need a gym membership, you can walk with your friends, with your dog. If you already have a dog, obviously that doesn’t cost anything, and you also exercise your dog. If you don’t have one, exercise with your friends, being social is a good thing after all.

Walk, take the stairs-if you are in a recession, one of the big things you still spend money on is gas. So if you walk instead of driving to the store around the block or to the next door neighbor’s house for that matter, it helps. Chances are you don’t live in a neighborhood where driving from garage to garage is a safety related necessity.

If you want to lose weight, there are good ways and bad ways to go about it. A bad way for example would be to use the grapefruit diet. Essentially speaking, all you eat is grapefruit. You are getting plenty of vitamins and minerals. But you are not getting all the essential nutrients you actually need to nourish your body, let alone lose weight, and are you really planning on only eating grapefruit for the rest of your life?

On the other hand, a healthy way to lose weight would be to eat more fruits and vegetables in general. Don’t completely eliminate other foods, because to eliminate any major food group would be an unhealthy and unsustainable method of weight loss as a whole. Cutting out more fatty foods however would not be a bad thing as bad fatty foods are not really a food group.

With this in mind, another healthy way to lose weight would be to kick up your exercise routine. If you are kicking it up to the point of actually throwing up after each workout or exhausting your muscles in general, it is not a good thing. But this is a perfect example of moderation in all things. Overall, you want to moderate and regulate your lifestyle. Healthy ways to lose weight are ultimately speaking the only ways to lose weight, especially if you actually want to keep it off.

There are many Appetite Suppressants out there, but many of them can be very harmful to your body if you do not take them right or take them for too long. If you do make the choice to take these diet pills please use caution and try to find all natural ones. Yes they do exist. The best ones to look for are the ones with green tea, and hoodia. These usually are your best bets for all natural diet pills. The only downfall to looking diet supplements with Hoodia is there are so many that have it in them. And most of these do not really have a big amount of Hoodia in them. However the only safe way to deal with all of these pills is simply not to take them. But there are some people who will take them no matter what. And to those people I simply state be careful and take them as directed. Once you have reached your goal weight stop taking them. Although I strongly recommend if you feel that you must take these pills please opt for the natural pills. They are by far safer and some times less expensive then popular “fad” diet pills.

Maintaining weight loss is key, even more important than actually losing the weight in the first place. I mean if you see success with Jenny Craig for example, great, until you gain all the weight back because you used prepackaged foods and never actually learned about healthier habits and moreover how to maintain your results in general. You have to exercise to have any kind of healthy and lasting diet plan. But you also need to remember the basic rules of eating more fruits and vegetables, having balance in good fats, not starving yourself, etc. And you need to stick to it. An occasional deviation is not a bad thing, it can even help so that you don’t binge. But you have to remember basic rules that you cannot learn through prepackaged meals, and frankly you have to be stick to any given diet for life. If you don’t or can’t, you will end up yo yo dieting, which can actually be quite detrimental in general to your health. This is why even famous people like Oprah for example have not maintained or otherwise really succeeded. They went to extremes and didn’t remember very basic rules in maintaining. It was all about the initial weight loss, too much in fact.

Now when astronauts go out on the moon or in space in general, there are serious issues with temperature and the suits are well controlled. When racecar drivers go driving, they have to take serious precautions, because you can easily lose a ton of water weight when you go and therefore get dehydrated among other things. But there are people who are actually doing this on purpose, despite the fact that you can gain water weight back so fast. They are using solar suits to lose more weight during their daily workouts. They also wear sweat suits for the same purpose, even though those definitely don’t look good to say the least. It’s easy to be fooled by this idea, and many have bought them. But the reality is that sweating makes you feel like you’re getting skinnier and getting toxins out. But it doesn’t produce the body fat reduction you want and it can be dangerous even in smaller amounts than a racecar driver may experience for example. Your body is about 2/3 water and especially when you wear plastic solar suits, you can squeeze some of that water out. You only drop a few immediate pounds, but you are losing the water and important electrolytes as well. Water works to cool you down during workouts, it essentially makes every part of your body work the way it’s supposed to. So don’t think for a minute that it’s the best idea.
